- Establishing a plan for preparing the university's budget project.
- Collecting proposals from departments for the budget project.
- Preparing estimates for budget items.
- Discussing the project with the Ministry of Finance.
- Receiving the university's budget, summarizing it, and presenting it to senior management. Then, conveying the instructions and information received from the Ministry of Finance regarding the implementation of the budget to various university departments.
- Conducting studies to monitor contracts and projects.
- Monitoring the execution of the budget.
- Monitoring financial transfers between items to settle dues and manage discrepancies.
- Collecting data and preparing statistics related to the budget.
- Reviewing and authorizing expenditure orders and financial obligations.
- Studying cost management for projects and contracts with deficits.
- Studying support and enhancement for items with deficits.
- Preparing the university's revenue report and submitting it to the Ministry of Finance.
